Camp Feedback

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for coming to Arkansas to have a camp!!! I am from Bradley, Arkansas (population about 500 people) and I coach the Bradley High School Softball team. I brought 11 of my girls to the camp and they loved everything about it. They especially loved Jennie, Mac, Andrea, and Laura. They couldn't stop talking about it. I especially enjoyed it. I have been watching Jennie since she played for the Arizona Wildcats. She is such an amazing person. She is also great with the kids!! The camp was well organized and well maintained. I loved that the entire Finch/Daigle family runs the entire camp. Jennie is such a motivational person. I loved every time she had the microphone cause she always had something positive to say. That helps a lot with the teenage group of girls that I have. Again, THANKS for everything and I hope to see you close to us again.

Also, I want to thank you for inspiring me to be a better coach!!!!

My daughter, Macy attended the Jennie Finch Camp in Oklahoma (May 2009)!  I cannot praise EVERYONE involved in this camp enough...How do you put a price tag on World Class Athletes and Families who taught your daughter so much...I knew my 9 year old would be thrilled to meet all the athletes, however the positive education she received was an unexpected bonus...Our daughter saw every athletes GREAT ATTITUDE, THEIR LOVE OF LIFE AS WELL AS SOFTBALL!! Macy was so impressed and now has several role models that have guided her to a life path only God could have directed her to....I cant stress enough, to everyone, attend this camp no matter what it takes to get there!! YOU as well AS YOUR DAUGHTER will walk away with the best experience.  Thank You ALL from the bottom of my heart, my daughter, husband and I WISH WE COULD DO IT ALL AGAIN!!

I would just like to take a moment to say Thank You for all your work you have put into this camp.  The Camp was OutSTANDING!!! I was so impressed at how well organized  the camp was ran.  I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.  My daughter is never the 1st running or the easiest kid to teach. But this weekend she was always 1st and never dropped her shoulders once.  The positive atmosphere was contagious.  It was our pleasure to be able to participate in this top of the line camp.  We have tried many camps for volleyball, soccer and softball.  We always leave with the mind set that was ok.  We can not wait til next year.  If the camp doesn't come back to California, we will travel!  Thanks again i know there is tons of behind the scenes we don't get to see.  All the coaches were world class Athletes! 
 

My daughter (Samantha) just attended Jennie's camp in EL Dorado Hills, CA. WOW! What an experience for her (and me!). The camp was fantastic and a class act. My daughter picked up so many skills from such great role models. Not only softball skills, but life skills. All of the girls running the stations were outstanding, how often do you get one-on-one instruction from some of the best softball players in the world? Most importantly, my daughter had the experience of a life time--watching, listening and learning from 7 AMAZING role models. It was really great to see how important family and friendship are to Jennie, it wasn't all about softball. Seeing her work with her family and her close friends was equally as important as her softball instruction. The two days were filled with great instruction and FUN.  I truly appreciate Jennie celebrating Mother's Day with us, what a day!

We wish Jennie the best of luck in her training for the USA Team. We hope she returns to El Dorado Hills after winning the GOLD in 2008!

Please pass on to Jennie how fantastic the Sulphur softball camp was. My daughter, Ivy, was able to attend and walked away with so much enthusiasm and excitement for the game! What a wonderful experience. I was so please and surprised at the amount of individual attention she received from all of the group leaders. She also came away with some new friends. She said she will never forget the experience and was so excited to meet Olympic Gold medalists and professional players. It was an experience I will never forget either. I have to admit to being a bit 'star stuck' myself! I have to tell you that other than meeting Jennie herself, Ivy's favorite part of the clinic was meeting and talking with Doug Finch. He gave her some pointers on her pitching that she is already working on. She talks about meeting him and getting his autograph more than anyone else. He made a special impression on Ivy and as her mother I can not thank him enough for that. Thanks to everyone involved in the clinic. It is so very obvious that Jennie, Doug and the other ladies do this for the love of the game and the young girls involved in the game.

Just a note to let Jennie, Doug, and the other organizers know how much my daughter and I enjoyed the recent camp in Sulphur, LA. It was obvious how much Jennie and her family had their hands on exactly what went on there. I felt that the girls got a lot of individual attention, especially in pitching. The quality and enthusiasm of the other instructors was excellent as well. These extremely successful and talented athletes conveyed a sense of the enthusiasm and dedication that it takes to maximize one's talents in this great sport. The genuine kindness, friendliness and availability of all the instructors, from Jennie and Doug on down, was something that my daughter and I appreciated and will never forget. There was definitely a giving, Christian spirit pervading the atmosphere that set this camp experience apart from others that we've attended. At $150, this was more than a bargain, and I'm sure people would happily pay twice as much next time.

We thank you for bringing such a quality program to our (currently rather needy) state, and we look forward to participating again if you do it next year!

Thanks for all you help and advise this weekend, but most of all thanks to you and Jennie for also sharing your faith. Its a great reminder to all of us that believe to continue to be Christ-like in all we do. My, daughter is even more motivated to keep working at softball and Jennie is a wonderful example of an athlete who is a role model on the field and in her Spiritual life. Hopefully the Biblical lessons will become more important than the softball lessons.

Wow! What a great experience! My 9 year old daughter is still making phone calls to tell everyone about her experience at your camp this weekend. Your staff was excellent and made it so easy to gather information to continue the experience at home. Jennie is obviously a great person and it is not just the pitching. She has a sincerity and a genuine thoughtfulness that made the kids feel special. Thanks! I am sure our little pitcher will be fueled for a long time from your camp program. She read your camp program booklet over and over on the way home and truly thought through each person's comments. We especially made note that one of Jennie's three people to have dinner with was "JESUS!" Yeah! Thanks again for being such positive role models.

Thank you so much for the fantastic camp this weekend! It was awesome having it in our own “backyard”! My daughter was in awe of the talent of Jennie and her Olympic friends and the Bloomsburg University players. I was very pleased at how smoothly everything went and how well organized the whole camp was. With over 400 girls, I wasn’t sure how it would be, but I was very, very pleased.

Jennie is such a great role model for our daughters on and off the field and I know my daughter took more away with her than just great softball mechanics. Jennie is a class act! I also want to tell you how impressed I was with how Mackenzie Vandergeest worked one on one with the catchers. She treated my daughter with great respect and kindness and answered every question Kaitlyn asked her and taught her new things that will really help her. We also really appreciated that all the girls took the time to autograph items and pose for pictures.

Thanks again for giving my daughter the chance of a lifetime. It is something she will remember and treasure forever.

We drove my daughter Payton to the Little Rock, Arkansas camp from Saint Louis and we cannot wait until next year. The camp was extremely organized and interactive. She not only had a fantastic time she learned valuable skills that she will use on the softball field and throughout life. The Olympians are FANTASTIC role models for everyone to experience. Payton is so excited she cannot wait to go back.

I would like to thank Jennie and all her teammates and assistants for a wonderful camp experience in Arkansas.  The personal attention and advice was tremendous.  My daughter has been so excited since she returned home from the camp.  She is already looking forward to attend next year.
